The department's responsibilities include:

• College and Career Readiness
• Professional Development and Administrator Support
• Technology Integration, including Mobile 1:1 Implementation
• Report Cards, Progress Reports
• English Learner Program
• Gifted and Talented Education (GATE)
• Categorical Programs (Title I, II, and III)
• Foster Youth/Homeless
• Family Life Program
• Intervention Programs, Summer School, and Response to Intervention (RtI)
• Expanded Learning Opportunity Program
• Parent Engagement 
• Translations
